IBS supply a range of Penstocks, Stop Logs and Bellmouths which can be used in many different applications including water and wastewater treatment plants, sewers, industrial effluent plants, flood control projects, waterways, rivers and hydro-electric plants.
Our flow control equipment is designed and manufactured in strict accordance with the latest issue of DIN 19704 – Hydraulic Steel Structures, whilst also ensuring that our penstocks meet the requirements of the most recent issue of BS 7775.
The IBS group have been supplying penstocks and stoplogs extensively throughout Europe since 1994, meaning that we have almost 25 years experience in their design and manufacture. We work closely with consultants, contractors and government agencies to ensure that they receive the best possible advice when designing their projects.
IBS Penstocks
IBS Penstocks are available in a variety of configurations including wall/weir mounted, channel mounted or channel side wall mounted, straight or curved invert section, 3 or 4-sided sealing, electric, pneumatic or hydraulic actuation and for isolating or modulating duty. In addition to our standard stainless steel penstock range we also offer bespoke stainless steel and galvanized/painted mild steel penstocks for non-standard or specific applications, for which we utilise the latest Finite Element software to ensure the most cost effective design is selected.
IBS Stop Logs
IBS Stop Log systems provide a cost effective way of flow control through shutting off or diverting channels, waterways and rivers. Depending on design water head, aperture width and height we offer various log designs incl. different materials such as aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel galvanized or coated.
